Art Direction for the Tropic Zone at the Central Park Zoo, a sign was needed that would serve both night and day events. The Design Cove created a sign that has two sources of lighting: backlit and front lit using a porcelain enamel material that is visible both during the day and night.

Birds were difficult to identify with black & white illustrations, so instead of making new signs, an illustrator was hired to paint the black & white graphics so that visitors could more easily identify the birds.
