EvensonBest is a furniture design company. M. Kelley, at The Design Cove, worked with this company while at Gensler. Marianne manipulated the letters to create a typographic treatment that formed a custom font unique to the company. The colors chosen were based on the clients desire for a neutral palette.
GL Planning & Design, Inc.
GL Planning & Design, Inc. Architectural firm based in San Francisco. The challenge of this branding project was to establish an identity for two partners with very different creative approaches. Marianne Kelley chose to “marry” the two names to create a strong cohesive brand.
EarthSeedlings
Earth Seedlings Grassroots organization that promotes healthy lifestyles for children. The organization wanted child-like images in blues and greens, with an international feel connected to the earth. In the end, we incorporated a child-like drawing of seeds growing and the earth encircled in brown circles mimicking vines.
QuantumParable
QuantumParable Branding project for a small business in Cambridge, MA. QuantumParable is about creating experiences. Some call it adventure, or questing. The experience involves a story created around the customer that is interesting, challenging, and ever-changing. The Design Cove chose to highlight the experience of entering or leaving the space showing movement in a three-dimensional space. The back of the client business cards have five different puzzles to solve with a code to enter after completion. Color scheme is bold to represent the adventure-seeking spirit.

The challenge was to include all of elements the client needed, in addition, one of the logos had to include the National Public Radio logo. Branding applications included: business cards, ads, marketing, t-shirts, hats, vehicle graphics and social media.

White Feather PURE
White Feather PURE was a branding project for a small business on Nantucket. The client had a tight budget, but wanted an original design, not clip art. The Design Cove were on top of the request and made sure it would reproduce well on letterhead and in other print formats.
