Marianne Kelley transformed the outline of the island into a water droplet to show Nantucket’s fragile dependence on water. Nautical typography was used to provide historical reference to whaling on Nantucket.
The goal of Nantucket Eco Group was to bring about a positive change in how Nantucket residents view of salt and fresh water. They hope it can then translate into smart choices during their daily lives to work together to protect our waters.
